1st MEMORIAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT ” TEO BARRIO “ HELD AT BEL-AIR TENNIS CLUB
On Wednesday, 4th April the 1st edition of the prestigious 1st Memorial Tennis Tournament “Teo Barrio” was concluded.
Due to the rain over the weekend the finals had be postponed till the following Wednesday.
D. Teo Barrio, founder of TC Bel-Air in 1974 would be proud of the high level shown by the all the participants.
In the open category the champion was Emilio Alvarez (one of the best tennis player in Málaga) and ex number 80 at ATP; who bet David del Rio, Spanish champion under 12 and under 16 and currently under one of the 4 best Spanish Juniors, by 6/7, 7/6 y 7/5 after a 4 hours exciting match which was very entertaining for the 100 people watching.
The rest of the finals were:
- Open Femenino: 1 Dominique Wahl and 2 María Povilionyte
- Cadete Masculino: 1 Pedro Cobos and 2 Enrique Moreno
- Infantil Masculino: 1 Egor Lisitsyn and 2 Matías Suiffet
- Alevin Masculino: 1 Daniel Salazar and 2 José A. Arcos
- Alevin Femenino: 1 Loreto Villalba and 2 Lola Moreno
- Benjamin Masculino: 1 Alejamdro Turriziani and 2 David Salazar

Between the 13th-18th of May we celebrate the 2nd Bel-Air ITF “COSTA DEL SOL” +40,+45,+50,+55 and +60. Grade 4.
Great accomodation in Pierre & Vacance Estepona Hotel **** at 300 metres from the club.
